      Pros

      Polaris offers an entrepreneurial environment, a team-atmosphere, and great learning opportunities at all levels. The company sponsors happy hours for the team every few months, and does a big summer event every year too. Great place to carve your own path and advance in your career.

      Cons

      As with any consulting or technology firm, the work can be demanding, and long hours at times. But, typically the long hours only come in waves (depending on the project you are on) - and the team is all working together to accomplish a goal.

      Good benefits, nice colleagues, many opportunities for growth and learning. You are challenged to improve yourself and the company instead of sitting back and waiting for work. And the company invests in fun and team.

      Cons

      You will have to work hard, travel a lot to customers and be flexible in hours and working for multiple assignments at the same time.

      - Fun place to work - Fun committee - Management is constantly working on process improvement. - Good learning opportunity and pay.

      Cons

      - There is no work life balance, since extra/weekend work is often. - There is always dirty politics going on, which makes two part of the company, business and technology. People waste time and energy in fighting within company to justify themselves, so there is no "one company" spirit.

      Pros

      Good compensation, decent benefits. Great company for designing your career. There is a lot of talent here and a lot of opportunities for learning.

      Cons

      I do not know what a 40 hour work-week is. Or even a 50 hour work-week. Work load is continually added to. I spend a lot of time on administrative junk instead of fixing problems.
