Pros

The pay is hard to beat and the hours are also great especially for college students

Cons

Only work here if you want to be constantly talked down to and criticized. The owner is rude and believes that there are no good ideas or working methods besides his own. There is no proper training and the owner changes his mind like the weather so any work or progress that you have made on a task will become irrelevant because he has already moved on to something new. He will treat you as if you are not a valuable addition to the company and fires people at random and shows no remorse. I only worked for Pride Life for 3 months but I was miserable. The pay is not worth the treatment that you will get from the owner. I submitted my resignation from my position at the company effective that day because I could not take another day of being treated badly and I felt like my work was not valued or respected. The rest of the staff at Pride Life is great and everyone is very kind so it’s a shame that the owner made working here such a bad experience. I had high hopes for this job but I was never given a clear role and often felt more like a personal assistant to the owner than an administrative assistant. The owner will repeatedly remind you that you will not find a better pay anywhere else and will try to make you feel as if you should thank him for paying you to do your job.

Not a healthy environment

Pros

Coworkers were nice, but that's it.

Cons

I was hired when COVID was in full swing with no vaccination in sight, and they had no mask policy. The environment was shabby, small, and did not have much light. The owner was very unprofessional and fired me on my first day. I arrived on time, dressed professionally, and had a regular day, only to be fired at the end of my shift with no reason given. It was bizarre. I had quit a well-paying, professional job to take this position, so I could have more time for my classes. However, I ended up unemployed during a pandemic and didn't even qualify for unemployment insurance since I was fired after one day. I would not recommend this place of employment.

Pros

Great team, no complaints, very helpful individuals Pay, insurance benefits Great location Remote work is offered, for those who might need it. Great mission, slightly obscured for profit

Cons

No job security. CFO acts on emotions rather than facts. CFO threatens to fire you for someone else's mistakes. New rules are created based on emotions. Small mistakes can get you fired. Lack of communication is a BIG con, not everyone receives the same updates and you must fish for information or you could be in trouble.
