A Revolving Door

Pros

A great place to be exposed to a lot of different technologies. You can be promoted quickly if you know your stuff and suck up to management. The view from the office is really nice.

Cons

I strongly recommend that you do not work for Proxios. You will most likely regret it. The place is a revolving door. Almost no one works there more than 2 years. I left the place 3 years ago and only 3 of my non-management/non-sales coworkers remain. This is out of about 40 total employees. A lot of positions since I have left have been replaced multiple times. They are very quick to fire employees. The work/life balance is the worst I have ever experienced. You will work far more than 40 hours a week. You will be required to be on call 24/7. You will be working the entire work day without breaks and will be discouraged from taking your lunch break. All of this extra work is unpaid. Proxios' product is always breaking. It just doesn't work. This results in angry clients. I was yelled at and cursed at multiple times by simply answering the phone.

Great people, sinking ship

Pros

-Good people in the working ranks. Lots of SMEs and intelligent folks. -Somewhat good work life flexibility. -Good training budgets. -Learned a lot.

Cons

-Absolute dog water management and CEO. They had to merge as the leadership was driving the company ashore. Extremely greedy. -Terrible client services and shady practices. Unsure of how they got SOC 2 compliance. There's a reason they lost multiple clients in my 3 years there. -Terrible retention. People saw the direction the company was going and jumped ship. -Horrid pay for the work that you do. They pay way below the national average to general IT workers while their management/CEO makes bank. -Almost collapsing IT Infrastructure. They are forcing the Cloud onto their clients because their on prem services are in shambles and they are looking to milk their clients.
