Just run away

Pros

They have a good holiday pay schedule

Cons

The only way to make it anywhere in this company is to suck up to leadership. I’ve seen bad management but here? They must be playing for gold in this event. They win, hands down the worst management/leadership I have ever witnessed in my whole life. Communication is like a -50. Expect to come back from PTO, or even just show up to work like normal. Everything is changed and no one will explain any of it to you. But once they do explain it, it will make 0 sense and of course it will make your job harder. Like they’re changing stuff just to change it. That’s how they run over there, change it now, make the plan later. I could go on but I think I have made my point. Anyway, if none of the above matters to you and you love getting babysat and micromanaged as a grown adult, you should definitely work here.

Pros

Benefits, access to Industry Discounts, and incredible people in the entry and middle tier levels of the organization.

Cons

Work life balance, pay scales, cost of living vs. cost of labor rates, turnover, training, leadership, HR integrity, honesty, work load, logical decision making, long range planning, short range planning, common sense, brand authenticity, organization, brand identity, financial health, extremely top heavy business structure, poor hiring decisions, employee welfare.

Dumpster fire - I can’t stress this enough

Pros

The shareholders and PE partners might get a short term payout if they sell the company quick enough. Benefits are solid, pay is middle of the road, maybe a bit below.

Cons

Completely ruined a portfolio of category leading brands. Culture is gone. The only strategy there is can be simply put as “whatever makes the most money the quickest”. You’ll be instructed to change what you are doing almost hourly everyday to keep executing on this strategy.
