Unprofessional leadership & unreasonable expected overtime
Pros
Social culture for the most part was great. Nice projects. Most of the directors are knowledgable, and if given the opportunity you can learn some good things from them.
Cons
The directors are the cause of the majority of the office drama. I have never seen grown adults fighting like highschool children in a workplace to this extreme. It is uncomfortable, and it puts the designers in the middle often at the expense of their own development/careers. Poor resourcing and lack of communication in upper management results in the Designers working ridiculous amounts of unpaid overtime, and for no recognition. Designers are often scapegoated and blamed through the actions or lack of action of the directors. If you want to work somewhere where you have a life outside of work this isn't the place for you. If you want to work somewhere where there is great job security, this place isn't for you. If you want to work somewhere where everyone works as a team and doesn't spend their time backstabbing and b**ching about each other, then this place isn't for you.
