Poor compensation and benefits, many of their so called "talents"/scholars/HOSs got poached/join EMA/join private sector. Just read their interviews on SP Group scholars/HOSs in mainstream media publications and search their Linkedin, most are NOT with the company anymore, which should ring alarm bells to the HR team. Inflation and salary competition has risen so much, but as usual, no salary review. They don't value staff, they rather you quit. Even the civil service is conducting a salary review for everyone. We don't hear anything here.
Increase flex by a mere $100 after 10 years which is a joke, have to do shift work, and night standby. After 7 years, my salary barely past $6k, friends who is smart enough to join other organizations laughing at me. Cousin who graduated last year with same degree joined DSTA with $5k salary already, almost like my salary. Going to resign very soon just like many other colleagues. Yes, bonus is OK, but, Civil Service/Private Sector has mid year/end year bonus/stock options as well, if you do the math, SP Group's bonus is nothing special, which is really laughable since their profits is almost a billion every single year!
