Pros

it was a great place initially, There was a initial joining bonus

Cons

Company has hired way too many managers and people with below average skills, thereby reducing the overall intellect of the teams. There are Engineering managers who are clueless about anything that's happening. Only thing they know is jira ticket is not moving. The directors know only to copy paste comments, but add no real value to the teams. CTO is the most arrogant person who enforces his sub-standard solutions without even considering it's pros and cons. Earlier we were using Golang in most projects, CTO forced everyone to switch to python just because he feels python is good. Real talented people have no growth here, if you can sugar coat well and just write some sub-standard code, you will find this place good. All good folks have started to leave. More are going to leave in coming months.

Not a favorable place to work

Pros

Remote work (although they will soon be moving to hybrid model soon)

Cons

- Most managers hired in the last year are not technically skilled, which results in a lot of architectural mistakes. - Developers are expected to start work on projects that are not even clearly defined and since managers are not skilled its difficult to make them understand why HLD and LLD is important. - Due to poor planning products are mediocre at best - Due to poor planning and constant changes in products developers are expected to work for long hours and make the changes overnight
