Ops Department is on fire.

Pros

Decent learning value if you're new to things or to the industry.

Cons

Literally everything else. - Upper management is clueless as to what half the department does - There is no growth opportunities, at all, like none. (Unless you're lucky and fill in for a senior who resigned. Even then you'll learn, but not get paid the time worth, not even as an interim.) - Incredibly toxic work culture (Oddly enough, only applies to Ops Dept from what I've heard) - Small gripe but you'll ONLY get remote work capability for weekends AND under specific criteria. Oh, sometimes for public holidays (Extremely rare though)

Work life balance, good for your early career

Cons

No career growth and development, you will stuck in your current rank for a long time, too much drama in management. No transparency for EOY performance evaluation, you could get bad score even you are a hardworker.
