Pros
Some of the people were great to work with, but the good people never stay for long.
Cons
If you want to feel unappreciated, frustrated and generally just really uncomfortable - then this is the place for you. This is by far the worst job I've ever had, and it's mostly due to a lack of proper management, lack of good communication and a complete disregard and care about the employees. There is a toxic and extremely negative work environment with very low pay, long hours and little to no recognition of hard work. Preferential treatment is given when not deserved and there is an enormous staff turnover with great, hardworking people resigning or being fired left, right and centre. Office bullying has also occurred without consequences. If you're looking for a job, look somewhere else.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI have been working at Sinclair Recruitment full-time for less than a year
Pros
Positive supportive environment, big on relationships, no two days are the same, great office with brilliant cbd views, sky is the limit and successes always recognised by the team
Cons
High budgets and conditions around commissions make them very hard for anyone to actually receive them. There’s been none paid to the team for all of 2019

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Sinclair Recruitment full-time for more than a year
Pros
Some of the staff
Cons
Everything. Management is uneducated and goes behind staff members backs as soon as the walk out of the room. Constant gossip and lies. Owner does not pay commissions and just gets drunk on Moet every single day and yells at staff and makes them uncomfortable. No matter what position you work here it’s horrible. The furniture is uncomfortable and cheap and the software and computers are always breaking. The reviews on this website are true and I wish I had read them before I started.

Doesn't RecommendI worked at Sinclair Recruitment full-time
Pros
Made some really good friends, pretty much because we all mutually loathed working there.
Cons
I wish I had known about this site before I accepted a role there and take the "positive" reviews with a grain a salt is all I'll say... I'll get straight to the point - work place bullying and sexual harrasment were far too common with absolutely no consequences, boss was an alcoholic who would make staff members buy the alcohol then top up her glass throughout the day as she shouted at them to do so from across the office, no HR, homophobia and more. Please know that none of this is written out of bitterness, it's fact. As you can tell from the other bad reviews.

Doesn't RecommendI worked at Sinclair Recruitment full-time for more than a year
Pros
The only reason I'm giving them two stars instead of one is for the many beautiful team members I worked with in my local office. Couldn't have asked for a nicer bunch of folks.
Cons
Interstate sniping and bullying and blaming. Heavy workload. Reception staff left out of team functions and generally treated like slaves by the CEO (who never came near you unless there was a problem). And if you were new, you didn't even exist. (I made a point of going up to say hello and introduce myself because she certainly wasn't about to!) Very poor training. Was left with the bulk of the workload due to other staff members either being promoted, fired, or leaving, with no support. I ended up being let go due to an anxiety attack but I agreed to it as in the end I had just had enough. Ended up with laryngitis and the flu in my last week but was still required to train my replacement despite having no voice!

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Sinclair Recruitment full-time for less than a year
Pros
Beautiful Sydney harbour views, occasional pizza parties.
Cons
Threats of physical violence, many hours of unpaid overtime, no support to team members, rather just a constant harassment from a drunken CEO. Toxic blame culture with no allowance for employees to defend themselves or have their point of view heard.

Pros
The only pro was that it was a stepping stone for me.
Cons
The company bullies all new staff and allows the bullying, there is sexual harassment as well, I know first hand and the dodgy dealings done under the table are next level! The amount of times they have also said forget about that client, they won’t give us the $$$ we need... They do not care about client satisfaction only the $$$. AVOID AND BE CAREFUL!

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI worked at Sinclair Recruitment full-time for more than a year
Pros
Excellent stepping stone and exposure into how not to recruit.
Cons
Toxic attitude towards staff all the way from the top to branch managers in all states. Bonuses are announced but never paid. A lot of negative discussions about former employees by all managers. No accountability by all management. Staff on holiday or student VISA working full time hours. Discrimination of staff members by management. At times does not pay their staff when times are hard and lack of placements is used as the reasons.
