      It's all who you know

      Pros

      Offices are lovely, many of the people are personable, smart and agreeable.

      Cons

      It's extraordinarily clique-y, you can be dismissed for no reason, and if you're support staff, most of the lawyers remind of that fact daily. Treated like second class citizens.

      Pros

      Good benefit package Many social events for staff Wide range of job duties, good for entry level to build transferable skills.

      Cons

      Big disconnect between the lawyers and support staff. Many of the lawyers will not even acknowledge the support teams that do not support them. Very heavy workload. When I was hired I was told it is normal to work 3-6 months behind where we should be at. Low pay and it is difficult to advance through the “levels”. Many IT difficulties leading to full days with network outages.

      Work load imbalance. Smaller departments with heavy workloads do not receive proper staffing.
