Pros

Extremely laid back 90% of the time, too laid back if anything

Cons

No communication with managers until you’re called upon to explain work you’ve been given without ANY training whatsoever. You are expected to learn by yourself and ask to be trained, rather than go through training at the start of your role. Completely backwards way of running a company. Managers are not fit for management roles. No communication with wider group of staff. Very cliquey within the workplace and can come across intimidating. Overall no help at all for newcomers, expected to know the role inside out within a month.

Pros

There are some decent colleagues to be found

Cons

Senior management are running the place into the ground. Systems aren’t fit for purpose, leavers aren’t replaced, salaries are low and morale is terrible. Chances for promotion or training contracts are slim

Pros

- Flexible working & only need to work from office 2 days per week - good colleagues

Cons

- absolutely atrocious pay - very little opportunity for promotion/advancement - external training requests denied - serial underperformers not dealt with - very low morale You are NOT eligible for contractual sick pay during probation or your notice period (only SSP) You are not entitled to contractual maternity leave until you have been there for over two years (only eligible for statutory in the meantime) Honestly, avoid.
