They have their whole engineering team in India. So the expenditure is pretty limited except for paying the senior staff. Even though they aren't profitable yet, they should pay good engineers around the market standard. But they try to get the job done as cheap as possible with way below industry standard pay. Promises are made that the employee will be given stocks which would amount to so and so after the company goes public, but literally no increase in the base salary.

Regrettable experience!! Not even the most basic obligations towards the employees are fulfilled like PF, Gratuity and payslips. The behavior of the coo is highly unprofessional and his ignorance towards employees has yielded a toxic work environment. Last year, company faced high employee attrition rates among seniors and the few managers continuing are deadbeats and untrustworthy.
