The fancy CoWrks building and the product is a disruptor.

Cons

Negative work environment. Inequal treatment of people. Uninspiring leadership and there is 0 transparency in processes. Employees are fired at will.

My 1 year with the company..

Pros

Promising startup with a great and relevant product. Global in its business model and approach. Lot of learning as the company continues to scale up on numbers in terms of the business as well as the people/resources. Great time to partner with the company.

Cons

Lack of transparency and an innate lack of trust in its own people mainly by the leadership - perhaps egged on by the pandemic and the limited physical interaction and rapport building owing to that. As an HR resource I did feel I had the responsibility of providing support as also a feel good to the employees out there but struggled often in the lack of the same for myself. May sound petty but having remembered most birthdays would have given my right arm for having my birthday remembered :). Unforgiving long hours made worse by a sense of not being valued.
