1>Almost no Hikes. This process is even not taken seriously. Timelines keep on extending. 2> Managers are the ones who have had no exposure in other companies, they started their career in this company and practically lack exposure to Corporate , that's the culture they have induced in the organization also. Managers have poor soft skills, they can literally be found shouting.Absolutely missing professionalism. 3> Poor work life balance, some people enjoy around and rest are made to slog in lieu of such people's work. Often asked to come on weekends without any compensation. *** If you are from a A list Company , never think of joining this one. This could be possibly the worst mistake of your life.

Just venting what I faced recently with Sonata software . And I'm putting it out there because i feel this is really unfair. So, i was offered a job in Sonata and my date of joining was moved from mar 16 to mar 26, since i had to complete my notice in my current firm. With the advent of covid-19, like any other person, I got anxious about my offer with the company. I reached out to the HR and was told that my job is confirmed, and as planned,I could virtually join the firm on mar 26 and begin work. Repeated checks with the HR gave me the same response and assurance that I had a job With this , I completed my tenure in my previous firm. All of a sudden, my calls to the HR went to noone. I was being ignored. When asked , I received an unclear response that they wont be taking me, since their in a crisis. I now have lost my chance to get a hike , since hike cycle in my previous firm was in feb 2020 . I have a financial crunch in my family!, and the package at sonata was to help me sustain the crisis.
