Pros

Good company and very supportive with their employee

Cons

I can’t think of any negatives about this company, except for their hiring decisions. They don’t always give employees the opportunity to progress internally, as they tend to hire externally instead.

Pros

Community Work helping Vulnerable people - clients and families usually family - I had a trial beforehand to see if it was a good fit Being out in community - meaning a huge contrast to previous 'desk bound jobs' I had. Get trained while working (and getting certifications while at it) - although the inperson training is much better than online / self-paced training. Can be a dynamic role (experience new things especially compared to a boring desk-job)

Cons

Feel Like I Can Be Replaced Easily (only 2 weeks termination in contract) Very Low Pay - you'll be struggling financially - good if you have 'support network' - could be a good part time gig, while having something else? Can be exposed to challenging behaviors (though that really is part of the job) Funding structure - meaning I Feel Like My Job is never that safe High turnovers - this includes managers and support workers
