The working hours are regular and flexible. Colleagues are very cooperative and always ready to help when there are issues on the field. The overall office culture is very positive.

Cons

The work dynamics are quite fast-paced, which can sometimes make it difficult to balance routine duties with sudden, urgent requests from other departments.

Some nice and helpful people Hybrid arrangement Office near to mrt Some of the things the positive reviews say are true but VERY dependent on your manager

Cons

Very dependent on your manager... if other people are saying bad things about your manager, and you feel that the vibe is off and something sus, trust your instinct. RUN. I didn't trust my instinct and suffered. Terrible person to work with. No startup culture, and there's no coaching (they say there will be but it's not true). So you need to come from a very similar industry to survive.

Pros

I can talk directly with our CTO and my manager without stress. When I bring up problems I’m facing, they genuinely listen and try hard to help. Our team shares process, ideas, tools, and important updates openly between engineers, PMs, and founders. We also have bi-weekly company-wide syncs where each department shares progress, so everything stays transparent. HR and engineering managers keep improving the performance review process. People are honest, respectful, and polite to each other.

Cons

Compensation is the main area I’d like to see improved. I understand there are local market constraints, and I’ve heard my salary is among the top in Taiwan within the company. As the company continues to grow, having clearer compensation bands and regular market calibration would make rewards feel more aligned with impact and responsibilities.

Work here has the benefit of flexibility work arrangement (Hybrid, WFH) then have high growth opportunity. Great work environment helps employees continue learning and growing professionally.

Cons

The title, grade and chart are quite confusing. I've been getting 4 times promote as Senior, like I don't move anywhere based on title

There is a very real push to help you grow both as a professional and as an individual. If you’re looking to stretch your capabilities, the support is there. Welfare isn't an afterthought: It’s rare in the fintech/Web3 world to find a company that actually advocates for employee wellbeing, but StraitsX does. The culture feels sustainable rather than just a "burnout" shop. Open and collaborative layout: The office is designed for discussion. Because it’s an open concept, you aren’t siloed off. It makes it incredibly easy to chat with leadership or hop into a brainstorm with other teams without the usual corporate red tape. Exciting pace: It’s fast, but for a good reason. Because the Web3 requirements and the regulatory landscape are always shifting, the company evolves quickly. It keeps the work interesting and ensures you’re always at the literal forefront of digital finance.

Cons

Definitely not a place where you can just coast through by being just enough. Because the Web3 space moves so fast and the company is constantly evolving, you have to be comfortable with change. If you prefer a highly predictable 9-to-5 where nothing ever changes, you might find the pace a bit intense.
