Pros

There are no pros here.

Cons

Multi level marketing scam. They claim that they are a marketing firm. They claim that they thrive on “upward mobility” They claim that you can own your own business in 6–12 months (you do not need a degree to do so like they say you do.) They claim they have marketing positions, account manager positions, promotions assistant, brand ambassador, junior ambassador, but during the interview they state everyone starts from the bottom and works their way up. Which doesn’t make sense why they post all the positions are available They target kids either straight out of high school or fresh out of college because we are scared to graduate from college and not be a productive member in society They make working everyday out of the week seem like a reward, but in reality run your “mentality” in the dirt. If you have any kind of intellect, look at this company as well as all the other “sister” companies and see that they all offer the same garbage 20 positions available that aren’t real positions. Ask them who their “clients” are, and assess the situation before you dive into a scam. Look at their Facebook and social media, and see the age range of their “employees”.

Dear Reviewer, Thank you so much for your feedback, we do appreciate any constructive criticism that we receive. We did want to clear a few things up though, so that there was no confusion. As far being a multi-level marketing company, that is not the case. Every one of our employees are W4 employees who receive a paycheck for the hours that they work every week. We also do not require any one to have a degree to work here, in fact, we have individuals in our staff that do not obtain a degree. Yes, we do start everyone out entry-level, which is explained in the interview and on-boarding process as to why we require each individual to start entry level. But, to refresh your memory, we start everyone entry level because we only promote from within and do not participate in outside hiring. We want each person on our team to be set up for success, and a crucial part of that training is starting out entry level to learn everything from the ground up. In regards to your comment about working every day of the week, everyone employed with our company gets 1-2 days off each week totally 35-40 hours worked by each employee. As far as targeting a specific age group, we also do not do that either. I know you mentioned looking at our social media, which I would encourage because on our social media you can see the diverse group of individuals that work with us. We are very sorry that you feel this way and you are more than welcome to send us an email to hr@talbertandassociates.com with any feedback or concerns and we will be more than happy to address things that way. Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Pros

Honestly there aren’t any good pros

Cons

The biggest challenge is working 50-60 hours a week and only being paid for 35ish. You only get paid for the time you’re standing in the sales field and 3 hours max in the office. Your drive time to the place 30 minutes away and sometimes 2 hours if you’re on a “road trip” and the other “required” things such as team nights and breakfast aren’t paid for. (Required in quotes because technically they don’t require it but at the same time they get upset if you’re not there and won’t promote you if you don’t go.) They try to convince you that this is the best job you’ll ever have and you are in an amazing opportunity. However, you’re actually just being sucked into a pyramid scheme where you end up losing more money a month than you make.

Dear Reviewer, We appreciate you taking the time to review us and thank you for the feedback! We did want to clear up a few things so that there was no confusion. We do not require anyone employed by our company to work 50-60 hours, we don't have anyone working under our company that even hits over 40 hours. We also pay every single employee an hourly rate for every hour that they work. We use a GPS verified clock in system that tracks every single hour worked for each individual to insure that we pay each person for every hour that they work. We also do not send any road trips that requires someone to drive 2 hours, we provide transportation to any event out of area. We typically fly though, so we are confused as to if you have the correct company here. We do have team building events outside of working hours, but they are by no means mandatory, nor do they have anything to do with promotions inside of our office. Lastly, we are not a pyramid scheme, which you would know if you worked here. Each individual employed through our company fills out W4's, I9's, ect and we pay them for the hours that they work for us each week. I am not sure if you have the wrong company or are confused, but nothing listed in this review is an accurate representation of our company. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback! Feel free to send us an email to hr@talbertandassociates.com with any other comments or concerns! Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Pros

I’ve been an employee with this company for almost 2 months now and was just recently promoted to Account Manager. I can honestly say in the short amount of time I’ve been here that it has provided so much guidance, structure, and experience in my life. This career has taught me to set goals, be structured, and assess myself in the best way. Every day I’m being challenged to be a better version of myself. If you’re looking for the opportunity to grow and progress, this job is the way to go!

Cons

I haven’t found any downsides to working for this company. I will say that it takes a strong minded, ambitious, and self-motivated person to be successful within this company. But I assure you everyone on the team is always available to help and provide guidance if necessary.
