    Challenges faced by industry,policy changes required,compensatory tarrif issue etc.

    Pros

    Tata Power offers superb opportunities to work and learn in a diverse set of roles. Amazing place to join as a fresher as the sheer quantum of learning would be unmatched. The company has such vast business interests that it offers the employee to gain insights in the most diverse fields. Best place to make mistakes and learn as a youngster.

    Cons

    The organization is large and growth is sluggish, could take up to half a decade to get first promotion and pay increase is almost always in single digits.

    Advice to Management

    Reduce the pay gap between loyal employees and lateral hires
