Pros
There are no pros worth mentioning.
Cons
• Very low pay for the workload. • Constantly understaffed, leading to burnout. • Widespread racism, especially toward non-British staff. • Managers were verbally abusive; some were physically aggressive. • Sexual harassment reported and ignored. • Tips were stolen from the staff by a manager. • Management roles were given based on friendships or family connections, not competence. • Sheffield site was dirty, disorganised, and poorly run; managers were lazy and uninterested in basic hygiene standards. • Coventry site was even worse and eventually shut down due to extremely poor management. • Staff were discouraged from speaking up . I was literally told to “know my place” after suggesting proper cleaning procedures for cutlery and plates (as they always came in for polishing full of oil and food remains)
