Working on the footlocker
Pros
I was working under the foot locker roll out team and I can say I enjoyed my time there. They give you responsibility immediately and allow to learn to from your mistakes which is really good. You develop your skills quickly and the more experienced staff members are always happy to help. The office has nice group of people and diverse mix of cultures that allowed people to share ideas and experiences. On weds they sometimes order pizzas for everyone at lunch, or have a BBQ in the mornings every now and again. They also often have team quiz in the afternoon which was cool. Nigel the CEO invites a group of random staff for a lunch every 6months or so and encourages staff to feedback improvements or issues so they can improve. I really liked my team and felt on the the whole the company is a nice environment to work in. Sometimes the deadlines were tight and I did work late occasionally but this isn't different from any other jobs I've had in the design industry and my boss encouraged leaving on time where possible. I stayed 2 years and left purely as I got offered a large pay jump and because I wanted push myself out of my comfort zone. I would recommend this company.
Cons
Rpa being a good company doesant have a high turn over of staff leaving. This is a positive but as not many people leave but because of this it is a little top heavy therefore it is not easy to move up with the company. This was my only worry when I was at the company.
