    Pros

If one can deliver then he/she will never regret joining this company. This company has got strong internal performance review system where performance is not just gauged on results but also upon tools/methodology practiced to achieve targets. Yes, this company spends millions on technology/training of best industrial and business tools. But mind it, these reviews are not just for rewarding performers but are also to identify non-performers who after fair amount of support could not makeup and are asked to quit. And this is where trolling of company by ex-servicemen starts.

    Cons

Not for everyone. Only one having ability to take on end-to-end responsibilities should take up.
No second chance if one found guilty of value issues as management hates excuses and will not spare one found playing smartly to hide mistakes. Yes, it's a tough company to work for but there are no free lunches in this world:)

    Advice to Management

Policies/system checks are framed out of fear which has complicated the working at many places. Yes checks are important but should be framed to paceup the things or to facilitate the core goals. It's a wonderful organisation but many have left with a feeling of non-ability to justify their core responsibilities.

Since it's a big organisation with hundreds of functions where horizontal deployment of checks/policies should be reviewed for relevance before implementation.
