Pros

There are zero pros for employees or clients when working with TypoDuctions. The name literally means mistake productions.

Cons

Where to even begin? This company has chosen to pick money over their employees and clients. Bottom line is, if you work for them, you will be asked to do more work with no additional benefits or pay. They’ll hire you for pennies and will scare you into doing your job with threats of write ups or termination. None of upper management has any previous experience in marketing. In fact, most people in management have theatre degrees, so they’re essentially actors by trade, gaslighters by choice. They will uphold regular employees to their “standards”, that they themselves do not even uphold. Some of their “values” are words like: unity, respect, and accountability. They do not uphold any of these values. The only unifying environment they create are the ones where they trauma bond employees. They do not respect anyone outside of their “circle”, everyone else is disposable. They’re never accountable to their actions. It’s always tossing the blame on clients, lower level employees, and the list goes on. Management doesn’t even show up to “important” meetings because they’re scared to face the people they employ. If you have differing opinions than management they will ostracize you, isolate you, and then eventually terminate you. Take it from someone with experience, turn away and run far from any job posting for this company. For clients, know that their “business development” department will oversell you unrealistic expectations for social media. You will not get what you are promised because the employees are simply overworked or outsourced. That’s right, someone across the ocean working for pennies on the dollar will be running your social media channels. If you work with Typo, know you’re doing business with two men who have single-handedly run both of their businesses into the ground in the span of 10 years. And I’m sure once they’ve run this one out, they’ll start 5 other companies. I wouldn’t trust them with 5 dollars let alone the reputation of my company or career.

Pros

-working remote - - -yeah, that's it....working remote

Cons

Nepotism is powerfully strong...and it may not be blood related family, but friends of friends certainly get a leg up when others don't even get the chance. Work is expected to be completed at unrealistic rates, with nearly impossible deadlines. Managers are clueless and severely out of touch as are the owners who would rather party with their business friends then really be involved and know what's happening within their company. This job is NOT worth the damage to your mental and physical health. I know it's hard to find a job, but this is NOT the one you are looking for.

Pros

The trauma bonds established with other disgruntled employees

Cons

Nepotism is thriving and surviving at this company. Management consists of inexperienced and power-hungry mean girls with no leadership skills. With no relevant experience in the industry or leadership, management ignores the valuable experience of their employees and refuses useful improvement strategies to mask their own inadequacies. Consistent and honest Communication is non-existent. The owners seem completely oblivious and unbothered by what's truly happening internally. In just under 3 months, 15% of the staff quit. Pay is seemingly decided with no guidelines or criteria, totally inconsistent and extremely LOW Impossible workloads and bandwidth expectations No REAL growth opportunities, just added responsibilities with no compensation increase Rude and unprofessional micromanagement

Thank you for taking the time to put this review together, we value constructive feedback so we can continue to grow as a company. We are deeply concerned about the claims in this review, especially the ones pertaining to nepotism as that is certainly not something we practice. We would also like to understand where the employee turnover data is coming from as it is not accurate. Evaluating experiences that employees have with various members of management is a very important goal to the company as well, so we would love the opportunity to explore these scenarios with you further. Can you please contact Human Resources at (844) 897-6843 x 202 so we can immediately address these concerns with you? Thank you very much!
