The pay was competitive, the product had some cool features.
Cons
So so so bad. I left as part of a staff exodus which resulted from unbelievably poor management. This is a Chinese company so you have to play by their rules, which don't make sense in the modern business context. It was like working for Trump Inc: navigating massive egos, byzantine policies, infighting, and being constantly lied to. Nothing made sense. The CEO's mood swings were out of control - pretty sure he is a sociopath.

Amazing, team in Japan ready to help and support you. Fantastic software developers.
Cons
Have not found the market fit. Products are launched before they are fully ready. Zero marketing efforts are made. In fact, the website actively blocks google from allowing people to find UMU without specifically typing UMU.
