Pros

I have been working as a Customer Support Representative at Uline, and overall it’s been a positive experience so far. The training program was very well structured and helped me build a strong foundation. They provide a lot of useful information, but it’s explained in a way that’s easy to understand and apply during real customer calls, which made the transition to the floor much smoother. The work environment is friendly and supportive. My team and managers are always willing to help, especially when you’re new and still learning. It feels like people genuinely want you to succeed, which makes a big difference in a customer-facing role. The role itself can be fast-paced at times, but the training really prepares you for it. As long as you stay focused and use what you’ve learned, it becomes manageable.

Cons

Bonus: No downsides so far!

Pros

- Good base pay - Quality training - Impressive benefits

Cons

- Micromanaging. They are constantly watching everything you do. I've even seen them time bathroom breaks. - There is zero community or push to have one. It is every man/woman for themselves and it feels like you are always competing with others. - They are always listening to what you say and can sometimes misinterpret and try to use it against you. They will always listen to the other person and never take your side. - Strict dress code, women are made to feel like they are in the 1950s with tights required during the winter. The fingertip rule does not apply for skirts or dresses because they will consider that too short still. You can take your suit coat off at the desk but don't dare forget it if you go to the bathroom because they will stop you and ask you put it on.

Thank you for sharing your experience. At Uline, we believe that dressing for success plays an important role in promoting a positive and high-performing work environment. With that in mind, we do require professional attire Monday - Thursday with the opportunity to dress down on Business Casual Fridays. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to uphold standards that support our success across our growing North American company.

Pros

The profit sharing bonus is nice but you have to wait until December to get it

Cons

EVERYTHING!! This was the worse place I have ever worked at. Way too many strict rules for dress code when customers don’t come inside the CS office. If you aren’t sick be prepared to use your PTO because they do not offer sicks days.
