Pros

The schedule is great 36 hours 1 week and 48 the next

Cons

The company is constantly nit picking the salary staff since we aren't under the union. They brought us in with the promise of overtime pay after 40 hours but now say we have to give them an extra 5 hours each week to qualify for overtime. They claim we have unpaid lunch even though many of us never take a lunch or have to eat while we work. There is a ton of turn over and our direct leadership has never worked in quality and has no knowledge of quality management principles. When those of us who actually do the work make suggestions or requests they bend over backwards to find a reason not to listen to us even though they haven't been on the floor in god knows how long. And our employees make as much as the supervisors do so there is zero incentive to be a supervisor much less a good supervisor.

Pros

You expose yourself to new technologies.

Cons

The culture is divided. In reality, the company culture leaves much to be desired regarding professional standards, as they try to burden you with tasks unrelated to your actual role, while offloading your core responsibilities onto OEMs. There is little information shared—or they share only the bare minimum necessary—and it is disappointing to witness how poor management causes them to lose professionals.
