Pros

WFH flexibility, but can be inconsistent during busy periods, with additional responsibilities sometimes reassigned across the team

Cons

-Management efforts often feel surface level, with limited follow-through on deeper issues. -Workplace culture can be highly political, which may impact trust, collaboration, and morale. -Leadership visibility is inconsistent, with involvement tending to happen only when issues escalate rather than through proactive guidance. -High turnover suggests ongoing internal challenges that have yet to be effectively addressed. -The “we are a family” narrative may not reflect the day to day employee experience. -Workloads can be demanding, with some employees feeling overstretched over extended periods. -Career development and progression opportunities may be limited in the current environment. -There can be a noticeable gap between how the organisation presents itself externally and the internal reality experienced by employees.

Pros

work from home but also you get aimed by the senior staff to come back in on wfh days they will definitely have a position if you are desperate for a job with the high turnover rate

Cons

Management Issues - The company has a lot of room for improvement. - Only 1-2 staff members has been with the company for more than a year - High turnover rate indicates underlying problems. - ladyboss is invisible and does not follow up on client work, expecting constant and multiple updates while claiming good credit for herself Training and Environment - Lack of proper training; expects you to just be able to do it . - Toxic "we are a family" vibes. - Claims of being a supportive environment are often not true. - Supportive colleagues exist, but only if you fit into their group. - gaslighting and manipulation to create a false positive image.

Pros

The team is quite a close-knit, cosy environment to learn the ropes of PR. Good for those who want to learn more about local brands/enterprises. The full-timers are quite nurturing and caring.

Cons

The management is quite absent, and a lot of full-timers are overworked. Quite heavy on interns - comes and goes which strains the seniors. Don't have good brands to work on, not the best for portfolio building.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We genuinely appreciate the thought you've put into this, and we're glad to hear that you experienced our team as close-knit, nurturing, and caring. That's something we work hard to foster and it means a lot to see it recognised. You've raised some fair points, and we want to address them openly. We hear you on management presence. That's something we've since taken active steps to improve. Informal check-ins have always been part of how we work, but we recognise we could have been more consistent, and we've made that a priority since. On workload distribution, we recognise that lean teams can sometimes stretch too thin, especially during busy periods. It's something we continue to work on through balancing the hands-on learning that comes with a boutique agency environment with making sure no one is carrying more than their fair share. We also take your point about client portfolio. We're proud of the local brands we work with and the impact we create for them, but we understand the desire for variety, and we're always looking to broaden the range of work our team gets to be part of. We've always believed in supporting our team members' growth, including when that journey takes them beyond our doors. We wish you all the best in your career, and we hope the skills and experience you picked up with us serve you well. Our door is always open if you'd ever like to reconnect.
