Pros

I had the opportunity to work at b-cause, Inc., 1. Disregard for Labor Laws One of the most concerning aspects of working at b-cause, Inc. was its frequent violation of labor regulations. Employee rights were routinely overlooked, and any legal standards that exist to ensure fair treatment were treated more like suggestions than requirements. 2. Culture of Disrespect Employees were often spoken to in demeaning and dismissive ways. There was a noticeable lack of appreciation for the hard work staff put in, which created a toxic atmosphere. Respect, a fundamental part of any healthy workplace, was sorely missing. 3. No Acknowledgment of Cultural Diversity The company provided no basic amenities like lunch, which is fairly standard in many companies. What was even more disappointing was the complete lack of recognition for religious and cultural holidays, such as Eid, which passed without so much as a message or bonus for Muslim staff. This made many feel invisible in the workplace. 4. Unfair Salary Deductions and Overtime If you arrived even 20–30 minutes late, that time was immediately deducted from your salary. Yet, working past 6 PM was often expected, and employees were pressured to stay late without any overtime pay. The imbalance was clear and deeply frustrating. You are always expected to work more and 5. Unprofessional and Threatening Behavior Company CEO meetings were often uncomfortable and unproductive. The CEO’s communication style was harsh and unpredictable. 6. Poor Salary Increment Policy After the probation period, employees naturally expect a raise that reflects their effort and commitment. Unfortunately, the salary increment offered was minimal—usually just 5–10%, which did not match the industry standard or the cost of living. 7. Difficulty in Taking Paid Leave Taking leave was another major challenge. If you requested three days off, you’d often be granted only one that too after back-and-forth negotiations. This lack of flexibility and empathy towards employee well-being added unnecessary stress to an already difficult environment. 8. Sick Leave Protocol If any employee were feeling unwell and wish to take a sick day, they had to video call the CEO which was overly burdensome. He won't approve the leave if he fells you are not sick and will deduct the salary for that day. 9. No Culture Values CEO is running business here in Bangladesh but always compares it with Japanese, Korean culture often in ways that benefits him, without considering the local cultural values and well-being of employees.

Cons

Overall, my experience at b-cause, Inc. was deeply disappointing. While every company has its challenges, the consistent disregard for employee rights, lack of respect, cultural insensitivity, and unprofessional leadership created a highly toxic and unsustainable work environment. Instead of fostering growth, trust, and collaboration, the company prioritized control, exploitation, and rigidity. I hope future improvements are made to create a more inclusive, fair, and respectful workplace for all employees.

Pros

1. Stable Business 2. Secure Job

Cons

1. The CEO is a perfect simulation of how bad a CEO can be—almost as if he were a cyborg designed to test human patience. And trust me, he’s at the final level. 2. His English is an entirely new language. You’ll need to be highly innovative just to decode what he’s trying to say. 3. The employees here have mutated under the influence of the CEO’s bizarre behavior. Traditional leadership skills and empathy are completely ineffective in this environment. 4. Only take this job if you want to push your patience to its limits and challenge your composure and communication skills. 5. I can only assume he opened the BD office for fun—as a personal playground for his power trips. 6. He has been running his business for 26 years, so he’s technically not insane. But whatever goes on in his mind when dealing with BD people is beyond human comprehension. 7. The company's work culture is so unique that even the worst corporate horror stories would struggle to compete. If there were an award for innovative ways to make employees suffer, this place would be a strong contender.
