Advice to management is taken with disdain. The 'solution" is often redistributing the workload to other colleagues who are themselves so laden with work to the point of incapacity. However, when brought up to management, the issue is swept under the rug faster than you can say the word. The next day, you get another new demand with no addition resources to deal with the pre-existing problem at hand.
