They expect you to provide the same customer service as Chick-Fil-A, but there is realistically no way. This makes it a stressful environment

Retail is not for everyone.

Disconnected upper management, extremely toxic customer environment, pay is decent but not enough for what they expect of you. Obvious lack of care of work/life balance. Also be warned because I saw it more than you might think, they will fire employees with no warning and often without even any reason.

The people above store management don't seem to really care about the employees.

Upper management was terrible (not the store manger). When they decided to close our store they didn’t even tell our store manger until one week before... !! They also paid me $11.00 an hour! That is absolutely nothing in Seattle, WA. I don’t think they really care for the employees at all. There is an impossible commission you can reach if you sell a lot but it was hard to reach it and not much money. Also you sometimes have to deal with awful customers who are very frustrated over there computer troubles. This one guy came up to me to help him with his computer, he got very rude when I tried referring him to the help desk and lied to my manger saying I wasted his time so he could get free service I think. I never had customers as rude as that in any other store I worked in.
