AST Pune salutes the spirit of womanhood! As we continue to make great news in the areas of digital transformation, AST Pune had taken up a resolve to transform lives of underprivileged women on the International Women’s day! Our team of women employees led by Vidya Khedekar and well supported by Supriya Sinha, Radhika Bellure and rest team visited Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS) https://maharshikarve.ac.in/ A non-profit organization focused on transforming the lives on underprivileged women. It has a century long history of dedicated work towards making women educated and self-reliant. It's a 124-years-old parent body, which has been committed to “Empowerment of Women through Education”. It was established in 1896 by the great visionary and social worker Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve to provide shelter to destitute women. The entire AST India team came together and contributed items of daily use, games, books & stationery items, etc to MKSSS. They spent half day at the institution .Indeed, a very special way to celebrate the spirit of womanhood!
AST Welcomes Top Leadership of a World’s Largest Member-based Physician Organization in India On Friday, February 28, AST’s team in Pune welcomed an esteemed delegation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) at their Pune facility. CAP was represented by Greg Gleason (CIO and VP, Information Services), Shannon Hoekstra (Director, Infrastructure & Operations), Akshay Patel (Director, Tech Innovation) and Kurt Schmidt (Director, Architecture & IS Support Services). CAP has been a respected client of AST for over 11 years, and multiple teams are currently working together as one to successfully deliver challenging projects across multiple pillars. During this trip they visited TCS, Infosys and Deloitte; and the only way to counter the competition was to give them a very personal experience, right from them coming out of the Airplane. For CAP, seeing AST’s capabilities and team’s competency around Testing, AI/ML, Automation, BOT, Security, AWS, DevOps etcs were beyond their expectations. Many thanks to the CAP Leadership for the visit at our Pune office !
Valentine’s day celebration… It’s the day to celebrate love but love is not restricted to your spouse, girlfriend or beau. It extends to all the people who care for you and enrich your life with their presence…We celebrated this special day with our AST friends, by wearing Red and exchanging cakes, candies and flowers. There was heart-shaped décor at office premises to feel the spirit of the day. Team enjoyed special lunch, that was arranged on the occasion. The celebration concluded with a musical game, that added the perfect touch of fun to the day! Captured below is a beautiful memory of the celebration...
Happy Republic Day…India! Freedom in our minds, Faith in our words, Pride in our hearts, Memories in our souls, Let’s salute the nation on Republic Day! 26th January…the day on which every Indian heart fills up with patriotic fervor and immense love for motherland…it’s the day to give a tribute to India’s unity in diversity and its rich cultural heritage! The 71st Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Pune Office. There was theme décor at Office premises, with our national flag flying high and national anthem was sung by all with great pride. Everyone got dressed in white color, to celebrate the true spirit of patriotism. The day concluded with Republic Day special lunch, that was served. AST India Welcomes Visit from PSAV On Wednesday, January 22, AST’s team in Pune welcomed Mr. Souvik Patranabis, Director- IT together as one to successfully deliver transformational projects in the long term. During his visit, Mr. Patranabis shared a brief future roadmap of all the exciting assignments coming up as well as spent time getting updates on the current engagement. In addition, Mr. Patranabis also spent time to understand some of our ground-breaking innovations, as well as AST’s growing areas of expertise. Many thanks to Mr. Patranabis for taking time from his busy schedule to visit our office in Pune. AST looks forward to many more years as a trusted advisor and technology partner to PSAV.
AST India ends 2019 with a grand fifth edition of the AST Premier League!!! Our Pune office recently concluded the fifth season of the AST Premier League (APL) – AST’s intramural cricket tournament that ran from Dec 9 till Dec 20. APL 5.0 is by far the largest initiative in terms of employee engagement with 8 teams and over 140 employees participating in this marquee event. Nearly 80% of our Pune workforce participated in the tournament as players, owners and/or organizers. With this edition, AST Premier League launched its official website http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMUft and presence across multiple social media platform taking this tournament to a global level. Live scores, a feature that helps you track scores on a real time basis was introduced enabling employees to follow the game as they work. Goodbye 2019 & Welcome 2020! When you think of New Year’s, you think of parties. More than any other holiday, it’s an occasion to get together with friends and whoop it up. In fact, as far as many of us are concerned, that’s really all the holiday is about. Team India too indulged in a rocking party at Pune, India on 20th December 2019. It was great amusement with awesome music & dance, followed by drinks and dinner. This is how we plan to say Goodbye to 2019 & welcome 2020 😊 As the New Year approaches us with hopes anew, here’s wishing you and your family a wonderful year ahead!
Oh What Fun…Christmas Jingle & Mingle! AST India played the thrilling game of Secret Santa for nine days from 9th Dec ‘19 till 18th Dec ‘19. Secret Santa is a mystery..it’s fun…It’s the joy of knowing someone is thinking about you. It’s the delight of unlocking a surprise… but more than that, the magic of connection. Employees withdraw random names to become someone’s Secret Santa. The Secret Santa is given a wish list of gift ideas to choose from, to give to their chosen Snowflake (Giftee). After opening their gifts, Snowflakes have to guess their Secret Santa. Guessing is as much a part of the fun as receiving the gift. The exciting nine days game concluded with a fun celebration on 19th December ‘19. Merry Christmas to everyone 😊
