In support of World Environment Day with its focus on global ecosystem recovery, we conducted Baxter World Environment Week Virtual Challenge encouraging all our employees and their family members to participate in activities like clean-ups, tree plantings, habitat restoration projects, and educational visits to local nature preserves and gardens. A recent UNEP report found that the economic benefits of ecosystem restoration are ten times more than the cost of investment, whereas inaction would be at least three times more costly.
