Philanthropy is a big part of the Gensuite culture, and we’re excited to share one of our team members recently won an award for her efforts. Ashley Huff, Event Operations Specialist, won this year’s 2019-2020 Small Corporate Team Lead of the Year Award from Cincinnati’s Adopt a Class program for her help guiding and mentoring kids in our adopted classroom. Congratulations, Ashley! As part of our Gensuite Summer Giveback efforts, Ashley is now leading opportunities for our team members to be of service to their local communities through the summer months. From supporting black owned business in support of Black Lives Matter, to local projects like community gardening and nursing home visits, Ashley’s work guiding Gensuite’s philanthropy can be seen throughout the organization. The health and safety of Gensuite employees, subscribers, & partners has been our #1 priority throughout the COVID-19 crisis. To help mitigate the spread of disease in our team, Gensuite implemented a mandatory work from home policy on March 11, 2020 for our US, Canada, and Europe offices. Our China team went remote in late January and the Australia, India, and Mexico offices went remote the week of March 16, 2020. With lockdown restrictions loosening across the world, we’ve reevaluated our policy and decided to continue working from our home offices indefinitely in our US and Canada locations, until circumstances permit a safe return to the office. The decision was based on our assessment of the current situation, available testing, and follow-up practices as we continue to focus on our team’s overall health and wellbeing. At Gensuite we are fortunate to be able to deliver our services remotely, with no service or support interruptions for subscribers. We look forward to when we can come together again in-person but until then, we hope everyone remains safe and healthy.
