We are celebrating the spirit of giving back and standing by our community with the first-ever Broad Hopes Fest. Last week, our Bangalore campus was transformed into a vibrant wonderland, bringing together a day-long extravaganza that left everyone in awe! The heartwarming highlight of the fest were the fantastic stalls set up by our NGO partners. They showcased exquisite, handcrafted artwork, served delicious snacks, and gave associates who visited them an opportunity to learn about the impact we are making together, through discovering donation details and exploring volunteering opportunities. We want to extend a massive THANK YOU to all our amazing NGO partners and associates who joined hands with us to make the Broad Hopes Fest a resounding success. Your dedication and support are truly inspiring! Together, we're making a difference. #BroadHopesFest #GivingBack #CommunityMatters

"The best part of my internship journey is that I was never treated like an intern but as a valued associate, where my opinions and thoughts are appreciated and considered. I was given work that had a legitimate impact on the teams and people I worked with," says Rohit Raghuram Murarishetti, in our latest installment of Intern Diaries. Rohit, who’s working in the Blockchain CoE in our Digital and Innovation Unit says, "I began understanding the market and business cases of the products we develop by interacting with the stakeholders and the teams building them. My team also helped me with insights into making the right decisions to scale our offerings to be optimized, lightweight, and production-ready, instilling knowledge about real-world product engineering." When you are starting off in your career, a mentor plays a big role. For Rohit, this was Abhinav Guptha, our Associate Vice President of Product, “who assigned me diverse tasks, exposing me to situations I wouldn’t ordinarily face." "A stand-out moment was when I got the opportunity to be a part of German Soto Sanchez's delegation that was involved in discussions with executives who drive our corporate strategy forward," he claimed, adding “I hope these takeaways help me grow and contribute to roles that value me for my identity, personality, and the qualities that I bring to the table."

Today we commemorate International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples and the 2023 theme “Indigenous Youth as Agents of Change for Self-determination.” Declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 1994, this day raises awareness of the rights of Indigenous Peoples, including the children and youth, to make their own decisions surrounding their economic, social, and cultural development. Land acknowledgement is a practice which recognizes and respects Indigenous Peoples as the traditional stewards of the lands where a gathering or event is taking place. It’s vital that this recognition is done with self-reflection and that it understands the trauma that Indigenous Peoples have endured and continue to experience. In recognition of this day, we encourage all to learn more about land acknowledgement and the histories of the land you live on by visiting the Native Land website.
