[Insights] Meeting EASA Part‑IS requirements is about much more than ticking a compliance box – it means building an information security culture that actively protects aviation safety. In a new article, cybersecurity specialist Jakub Cunat from Egis’ Aviation team shares how organisations can move from initial awareness to a fully operational Information Security Management System (ISMS) that delivers audit‑ready evidence and supports day‑to‑day operations. The piece breaks the journey into four practical phases: defining scope and ownership, embedding processes and responsibilities, sustaining improvement through monitoring and training, and demonstrating readiness ahead of regulatory oversight. This structured approach helps aviation stakeholders accelerate readiness, close remaining gaps, strengthen resilience, and build confidence before formal Part‑IS audits.
[Case study] Because children are our future, city planning needs to start with their needs today. Through the Urban95 Pune project, Egis helped rethink urban spaces from a child’s perspective, creating safer, calmer and more inclusive environments for young children and their caregivers. The spirit of Christmas was personified in our office through an interesting celebration arranged by our human resource department. From decorations to happiness, and from the live Christmas band performance to the cake-cutting ceremony, it was all about celebrating the spirit of togetherness and happiness. One of the highlights during this event was “Rhythm Tempo & You”, this experiential workshop with a musical twist, where participants came together to create a rhythmic experience. This workshop began with random rhythms and evolved to a very coordinated and synchronised rhythm, from unstructured to highly disciplined and coordinated activity at work. These moments go well beyond celebration. They bring our teams together, spark energy across the workplace, and reaffirm that at Egis, our people are truly at the centre of everything we do. Huge thanks to our HR team, facilitators, and colleagues for making it so memorable. Cheers for teamwork, camaraderie, and going out on a high note for the year!
