[Egis Success Story] The King Fahd Causeway Bridge. 🌉 Maintaining and refurbishing the one road link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Built in the 1980's, this 25-kilometer structure faces many challenges: - increasing road traffic - severe marine conditions to the structure of the bridge. Our mission? Assess the condition of the causeway. Our goal? Provide a comprehensive view of its structural health. Our tools? 🤖 Advanced technologies we're mastering, like digital twins, AI, and drone-based photogrammetry. The result? We have created a centralized GIS platform in collaboration with industry experts (Applus+, VSL International Ltd....) It helps us watch real-time data and develop a detailed maintenance plan. Our aim? Extending the lifespan of the bridge! [Success story] One of the last highlights of late 2024? The opening of our new, state-of-the-art offices in the UAE! 🎉 Let's take a look back in time! ⏲️ In a first opening celebration event, Egis Middle East and South Asia CEO Alaa AbuSiam had the opportunity to declare the offices open by hand unlocking! Green beams and confetti followed soon after, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Egis in the UAE. 🎉 New offices, improving work conditions of Egis teams and in-house Group brands U+A, Inhabit and 10 Design. 📈 Egis Group CEO Laurent Germain then went to visit the new offices on December 20 in an occasion to reflect on the great successes of 2024 with the teams and have a sneak peek at what lies ahead in the region. Counting almost 3,500 staff across the Middle East, our Group is growing its presence in the region, gaining flagship projects on the way, including the delivery of the newly launched Riyadh Metro, the expansion of Dubai's 180,000m² purpose-built exhibition space, the comprehensive maintenance and rehabilitation projects in Abu Dhabi and supervision of Egypt's High Speed Rail.
