Last month, Grouponers participated in the ninth annual Volunteerathon, a global initiative of do-gooder-y. In just 12 days, more than 300 teammates donated more than 1,125 hours of community service to support the phenomenal work of our community partners, including more than 20 in-person events. A huge thank you to #TeamGroupon for all of their contributions! 👏👏
#TeamGroupon has been busy re-opening our offices across the globe! London, Bristol, Warsaw, Paris, Dublin, and Dubai have all moved into Groupon's @Flex model, our new way of working. Each celebration has been custom to the teams and locations celebrating, but they've all had a bit of that special Groupon something - from balloons to eats & treats to custom mugs to remind employees we missed them quite a latte. What do you do when you have the attention of hundreds of millions of people but want to do something other than a Super Bowl ad? When you’re Groupon, you team up with one of football’s most talented and beloved players, THE Rob Gronkowski, to throw the most unforgettable and unique Super Bowl party experience at his house! Thanks to the work of several talented members of #TeamGroupon, the "Party Like a Player" event went down this past Sunday, and as expected, it was an absolute blast. From axe throwing, beer tasting, a 360 camera room, bumper balls, and a special appearance by the Gronkowskis (including the man himself), it was an unforgettable experience only Groupon could provide. #TeamGroupon is celebrating our second annual Wellness Week - an entire week dedicated to boosting physical, nutritional, and mental wellbeing. From Peloton workouts to a virtual healthy cooking class, there’s something meaningful (and fun) for every Grouponer to enjoy! The week will end with a "Digital Detox Day" on Friday for teammates to rest & recharge free of emails and meetings. We look forward to getting stronger with our teammates - mentally and physically! 💪
