It is a matter of pride, happiness and extreme jubilation that HSCians who joined us in our journey 17 years ago when we started, are still standing strong with us and motivating us to keep reaching beyond… On this momentous day, we met, laughed, had a hearty meal and made even more cherished memories. On August 28, we at Hughes Systique Corporation, invited a batch of 20 students from NIIT Foundation for mock interviews and for the purpose of providing them an experience of the process which they will be a part of in the coming few weeks. NIIT Foundation has been HSC’s trusted partner in upskilling and upgrading the skill base of 25 students each quarter and 100 students each year, with their computer literacy program and empowering the next generation of youth from the underserved sections of the society. The current batch of students while looking forward to graduation, will also be appearing for placement interviews in retail and health sectors in the upcoming weeks. Managing their time, commitments and work, 17 volunteers joined the session as interviewers and made sure that the students go back equipped to face the challenges that they might experience in the placement interviews. Volunteers also shared constructive feedback with each of these students so that they could work on the deficits in the remaining time. We also made sure that each student participated in three interviews at the least and those who wanted to practice a bit more, got the chance to do so. After the interviews, Ms. Udita Puri, Assistant Manager – L&D, HSC, illuminated the students with an interactive and engaging workshop on interview etiquettes.
