Mr Vinod Sood, MD, Hughes Systique, will be attending Confederation of Indian Industry’s The Partnership Summit 2023 as a panelist and will speak on the topic of “Innovate or Perish”: The Technology Leap” on March 15, 2023, at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. Later in the day, Mr Sood will be speaking on the topic "Emerging Technology Roadmap : Hype or Reality!" at the 4th edition of Confederation of Indian Industry's DX Summit in Kamal Mahal Hall, ITC Maurya, New Delhi.

Team HSC, marked their strong attendance at the IFFCO TOKIO Starry Night Marathon on March 04, 2023. With runners participating across categories, Hughes Systique was also a proud partner of the marathon which raised awareness about women’s safety and gender equality. With all female pacers, the marathon marked an energetic start to the Women’s Day celebrations which was followed by a sumptuous dinner.
Ms. Gauri Sindhu, Senior Engineer, Hughes Systique, was recently interviewed by Ms Soumya Gupta, Founder & Organisational Psychologist, The FriendsSquare, about her journey in technology sector, the changing roles of women in tech and discussing the benefits of working in an inclusive environment. Mr Raghav Sharma, Senior Engineer, and Mr Rohit Pandey, Chief Engineer, Hughes Systique, virtually presented a paper they co-authored, titled “SR-OIR-SSD: Super Resolved Eyes in The Sky”, at the 8th International Congress on Information and Communication Technology (ICICT) in London, United Kingdom. In the paper, the authors propose a new object detector that can recognize things in aerial (drone or satellite) photographs regardless of their resolution, number of objects, or size, whereas most other object detectors have failed at this task. Through their work, they propose a novel technique based on a GAN and modified SSD architecture for object detection on aerial images attaining high mAP.
Mr Amit Gupta, AVP – Engineering, was invited as a Key Speaker at Confederation of Indian Industry’s Global AIXhibition & Conference 2023 to address the session on the topic of “Edge Powered AI; Emerging AI/ML Market Trend - A Game Changer?”. The conference was held in Pragati Maidan and was attended by over 1500 delegates & visitors with more than 70 exhibitors showcasing their products. The session focused on the latest technology trends in the Edge AI/ML and the speakers highlighted the importance of it. The session aimed to address the challenges of cloud connectivity, latency & data privacy issues with the existing cloud AI deployments. Mr Gupta talked about the industry trends in the Edge AI ecosystem where Chip manufacturers work hand in hand with silicon innovation and customized AI model optimization for their hardware architecture. He also briefed the audience about the model quantization technique to reduce the AI computation demands and increased power efficiency.
