Mr Vinod Sood, MD, Hughes Systique, was invited at CII’s 15th Agro Tech India 2022, which was held at Chandigarh from November 4th till November 7th. The B2B fair was themed on ‘Digital Transformation for Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security’ and witnessed participation from 100+ exhibitors, 6 Kisan Goshthees, 100 CEOs from the Agriculture & Food Processing industry, 40,000 farmers and deliberation participation by 100+ eminent speakers from esteemed institutions. Mr Sood delivered the Vote of Thanks to a conference panel comprising of expert speakers from government institutions, representatives from the academia and organisations like AWS, Progressive Infotech etc. and discussing the topic, “Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture - Digital Agriculture: From Data to Actions” on the 3rd day of the fair.
Mr. Tarun Singhal, Vice President – Engineering, Hughes Systique Corporation (HSC), was invited as a panelist at the Agile Gurugram 2022 Conference, which was held at Sushant University in Gurugram, Haryana. The theme for this year’s conference was “Changing Face of Agile” which was also the seventh iteration of it. Stretched across two days, the conference aimed to cover the trending topics in the lean-agile community such as the quantify success of agile projects and business outcomes, agile transformation in unconventional areas & hybrid ways of working and agile in VUCA world - Agile to AI/ML, BigData and IoT products. Mr. Singhal discussed the topic “Face of Agile - Top-down equals bottoms up?” and was accompanied by industry veterans from Adobe, vDoIT Technologies & Digital Futurists. He shared his experience of transition of large programs to agile and hybrid ways of working. Mr Singhal also shared his views on some of the myths associated with agile and how agile practices have helped with innovation and ownership.
Mr Vinod Sood, MD and Mr Abheek Saha, Chief Engineer, Hughes Systique were invited at the India Space Congress on October 27, 2022, which was held at Hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi. Mr Sood was joined by industry experts from organisations such as DRDO, Microsoft and Dallas Venture Capital among others, as Observers for a startup pitch session for space entrepreneurs. Post the session, the founders of the startups had a one-on-one mentoring session with Mr Sood and shared important management & leadership tips which would help them to create an inclusive culture within their teams. Mr Saha attended the conference as an invited speaker on the session “satellites in the 5G era and beyond”. Key topics of discussed in the session included the future of satellite communication given the push to standardize. Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) access in 5G networks, the impact of satellite communication in bridging the digital divide and the comparative technical challenges and opportunities given the rise of LEO satellite constellations (as opposed to the legacy GEO systems).

The theme of the event was to facilitate conversations about "Catalyzing Continuous Innovation with Future-Defining Tech'' and sessions for Manufacturing and Digital Native organisations were also scheduled at Hotel Andaz in Aerocity, New Delhi. Mr Singhal was joined in his round table discussion by industry experts from ITeS sector from representing organisations like Microsoft, Grant Thornton and KPMG among others. He talked on topics like the paradigm shifts the ITeS industry is undergoing & its challenges and adoption of AI/ML,cloud and automation to upscale both workforce and systems. Mr Singhal also shared his thoughts on transforming the workforce for business continuity by enabling hybrid work and adoption of hybrid multi-cloud as a strategy.
