As HSC’s Team Parivartan headed through the bylanes of North Delhi to the historical Roshanara Garden, they were welcomed by the enthusiastic team of Give Me Trees Trust and the rain gods. As part of Hughes Systique’s resolve and commitment towards a greener tomorrow, we have partnered up with Give Me Trees Trust, who shall plant 3,000 bamboo trees throughout the year, surrounding this heritage park which will also act as a natural barrier. The maintenance of the garden is undertaken by the North Delhi Municipal Corporation, as the 400-year-old “Bagh” is also a heritage site. The overall project involves rejuvenating & revamping 57 acres of Roshanara Garden. As part of the program, thousands of trees are to be planted, a nursery is to be developed for rare and exotic plants & flowers and the lake in the garden shall be revived, this year. The plantation drive could not have taken place on a better day as the world celebrated #WorldBambooDay on September 18th.
