HSCians celebrated the spirit of an Independent & free India into its 76th year with enthusiasm and delight.
After being welcomed with such jubilance, the freshers were still looking forward to the most anticipated session which was with Mr Vinod Sood, MD, Hughes Sytique. The hour-long session was initiated by Mr Sood who welcomed the recent HSCians into the fold first and then after a few minutes of getting to know them, he introduced them to the legacy of Hughes Systique. Mr Sood took them across a journey from the initial days of 1992, from the times of Hughes Software Systems to the Hughes Systique Corporation of present. He also made them aware of the kind of excellence that HSC is known for and the level of commitment that can help them grow & excel. Conversations as immersive as these often give a glimpse into the kind of work culture that awaits the new joiners at Hughes Systique. We are sure that they will shoulder the responsibilities to the best of their extent and are natural successors to the culture of the company.
As part of Hughes Systique Corporation (HSC)'s sustainability efforts, one of the key CSR focus areas is Skill Development for the underserved sections in the geographies we operate in. Thus, enabling better employability for the marginalised youth. HSC is proud to announce the commencement of the 1st batch of Skill Development Training Program (employability skills training) in collaboration with NIIT Foundation, one of our long time NGO partners! Through this program we aim to upgrade the skill base (especially computer literacy) and employability of at least 100 students in urban slums in NCR in 2022.
The winners of the office reopening activities from HSC’s Gurugram campus, were in for a treat (literally!), as their winning entries got them dining with Mr Vinod Sood, MD, Hughes Systique. Mr. Arpit Jain, Ms. Kriti Gandhi and Mr. Nitin Sharma were joined by Mr. Sood for a scrumptious lunch, courtesy of our wonderful cafeteria staff. The lunch also presented as an opportunity for the young engineers to discuss various matters with their super-mentor in an informal setting as well as getting to know each other and the projects they were currently working on. The informal discussions proved to be quite an informative and productive session for the contest winners, as Mr. Sood inspired the trio by sharing his life experiences and playing the perfect host.
