HSC will be exhibiting at India's largest new commerce show, IReC 2022 from May 24 to 25 in Bengaluru and at HITEC, Dubai, Middle East's premier hospitality technology conference, from May 24 to 26. At both the shows HSC will showcase its offerings for the Retail and Hospitality industry.
Mr Vinod Sood, MD, Hughes Systique, joined Mr Pankaj Pandey, CEO, Vyapt Consulting for a live conversation on the topical and trending issues like the impact of digital transformation globally across sectors and the IT industry specifically. In thirty-minute conversation which was also streamed live, Mr Sood also shared the key skills required for a successful professional journey, especially so for the young professionals who are in the initial phase of their career. He also highlighted the need for working professionals to follow one’s passion, never stop learning and investing towards creating genuine relationships as a lesson that he has learnt over the course of his career. Before signing off from the session, Mr Sood shared that, “Success in one’s career is not a predictable formula. Sometimes, your best efforts go waste and sometimes you get success you never thought of. That is life, unpredictable with many ups and downs, not deterministic. It is Important to have broad & flexible perspective towards life."

Mr Sanjeev Dosajh, Assistant Vice President - Administration, Hughes Systique, was recently adjudged as the recipient of the prestigious Leadership Award under the category of Professional Excellence in Facilities Management & Workplace Management by CE Worldwide. The 2022 Delhi/NCR Leadership Award Summit & 138th Procurement, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, Facilities Management Conference took place on April 20, 2022, and was held at Crown Plaza Hotel in Gurugram. The jury for finalizing the award recipients comprised of senior fraternity members, industry professionals and the senior management of CE Worldwide. The conference was attended by over 100 industry professionals from various sectors and industries like Automobile, Aviation, Banking, IT, Logistics, Manufacturing, Oil & Energy among many others.
On April 16, 2022, Mr Vinod Sood, MD, Hughes Systique, conducted a session in collaboration with Mr Srikant Sastri from TiE Delhi-NCR. The session aimed at encouraging women leaders from corporate sectors to take up mentorship roles and play an integral part in the startup ecosystem. His participation in the session reflects the culture that we represent, which is of empowering and broadening the representation of women at Hughes Sytique. He also differentiated between the various roles of a mentor/coach/consultant/trainer, and the challenges that these roles presented itself with.

Mr Vinod Sood, MD, Hughes Systique, gave the keynote speech at L&T Edutech’s Webinar on Evolving Career Opportunities in IT/ITES sector. He spoke on the topic of “Evolving career roles and future skills for young engineers in the Digital VUCA world”. Mr Sood was joined by eminent industry leaders for a discussion post his talk. He emphasised on the need for continued learning even for working professionals as he believes that learning will become a part of life for working professionals who want to do better in their careers especially in this VUCA world. Mr Sood concluded his talk with the following note, “It is Important to have broad & flexible perspective towards life. Not get arrogant with success and also not depressed with failures. Don’t leave any opportunity to learn, make mistakes and experiment and learn from them too.”
