As an integral part of Tanla's ESG commitment to the inclusive development of underprivileged communities, Tanla Foundation partnered with the National Academy of Construction (NAC) to provide a three-month Placement-linked Skill Development Training Program towards achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals 1 & 8 - Poverty Alleviation and Decent Work & Economic Growth. A total of 100 candidates received technical training in trades like storekeeper, electrician, and plumber, which empowered them to pursue the finest employment opportunities and advance professionally. 90/100 students from the very first batch were placed – having received offer letters along with their certification in the valedictory conducted at the NAC Auditorium. It is humbling to see the commitment these students demonstrated in completing the training program that allowed them to secure a position at reputable infrastructure companies. #Tanla #ESG #CSR #NAC #Education #Employment
