Paper published at the global conference ACM COMPASS’22 held in Seattle in June 2022. We congratulate the paper’s authors, especially its lead author, Mr. Sudheesh Singanamalla of the University of Washington. And we also celebrate two contributors, Ms. Anuradha Chava and Ms. Himanshi Lohchab, from the Tanla family. In July 2018, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India adopted a consortium blockchain-based architecture as the RegTech to address concerns around Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC aka. spam) sent through text messages (SMS) and phone calls. Tanla is proud to have partnered with telecom companies in India to create its Trubloq solution for implementing the regulation. This paper provides an account of the project’s evolution.
