Following the successful Skill Development & Placement Program in March 2022, Tanla Foundation commenced yet another program at the newly inaugurated Centre in Khammam. We partnered with Sambhav Foundation that will train & place 300 candidates as Data Entry Operators, CRM – Non Voice & Warehouse Picker in the age group of 18 - 30 years with a minimum qualification of Class X & XII. On the day of inauguration, 100-120 students have already registered for various courses, several of whom expressed that taking up this 3-month course would help them develop the digital skills & soft skills they would need to pursue any employment. The Skill Development & Placement initiative falls under the Employment pillar of our CSR, the other two being Education & Environment. Several of the 100 candidates who had completed their training in March 2022 & had been hired since then, were also present to share their training experiences with the new students. Their testimonies on how they were able to overcome several challenges by acquiring employability skills, inspire us to increase our efforts.

Tanla is highly focused on ESG which includes our commitment to inclusive development of the society. Through the skilling & placement initiative, we are directly addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 1, 8, & 10 which are: No Poverty, Decent Work & Economic Growth, & Reduced Inequality, respectively. Tanla performs CSR in 3 sectors namely – Education, Employment & Environment. Under Employment we have a commitment to skill, train, & place 25,000 youth by 2025 to create a future where they can flourish. For this, Tanla & the National Academy of Construction (NAC) exchanged an MOU on the occasion of the NAC’s formation day for the mobilization of 100 candidates toward their training and placement. This initiative, which is a pilot project, intends to impart a three-month Placement-linked Skill Development Training Programme to unemployed youth in technical trades like Electrician, Plumber, and Storekeeper. Such initiatives support Tanla in achieving its ESG objectives by inspiring the youth to get the best employment opportunities and progress professionally.
It all starts with us! Our emotional well-being is as important as our physical wellness. Keeping that in mind, Tanla launched a very special wellness initiative for all its employees in partnership with United We Care. Through this initiative, employees will be able to track and prioritize their wellness by availing diverse services available on the United We Care app along with the option to even book consultations with experts. The first launch event was held at Tanla’s Hyderabad office on 5th September, and we received an overwhelming response from our employees. We have now hosted similar events across our other offices in India & Dubai.
