Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for efficient communication between application layers.
• Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Participate in application deployment and maintenance on AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and enterprise security policies.
• Perform troubleshooting, performance analysis, and issue resolution across the stack.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional experience in full stack Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (version 8 or above) and Spring Boot.
• Proven expertise in PostgreSQL, including query writing and database optimization.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies: Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with cloud deployment on AWS or GCP, including CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control systems and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful web services.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, API gateways, or service mesh architectures.
• Exposure to cloud-native services such as AWS RDS, ECS, Lambda, or GCP Cloud SQL and App Engine.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React or Angular) will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
