What is typically worn or allowed to be worn at work at Amazon?

Pros

Great benefits, no dress code, tattoos, piercings are fine. High value on veterans and diversity/inclusion. Good hours

Cons

Long hours. Night shift or day shift both 11-13 hour shifts. Some mandatory overtime during peak (prime week and christmas). It’s Amazon, very corporate. Good pay but they could afford to pay better. Demanding and definitely takes an effort to get to know your manager/coworkers but if you make some friends it can be fun.

Pros

getting paid every week was nice, the interview and application process was quick and easy.

Cons

modern-day slave labour. on your feet 9 hours a day, only two 30 minute breaks and one of them is unpaid. Feet become extremely sore and uncomfortable, not even comfy trainers worked. had hiking boots on with fluffy socks and gel insoles... barely helped.
