- Work life balance is a myth.
- Receiving emails and working across weekends is encouraged.
- 3 days in office is mandated and will no doubt increase in time, with business pushing for more Fridays in office.
- Challenges with childcare are often overlooked and the overall culture doesn’t reflect the brand.
- Value “we say it as it is” is an excuse for people to be rude
- There is no ‘one team’ feeling, with individuals generally acting with self interest.
- All other responses on Glassdoor are met with a comment “this isn’t the way we do things at M and S”, but clearly it is.
