Applied online, passed all the scenario judgement questions etc and got an individual assesment 2 weeks later. Seemed to go well, quite positive, area manager seemed nice got a trial shift the following Friday. Trial shift consisted of putting a frozen delivery away, whilst customers were asking me questions i didnt know the answer to "where's x" so i soent alot of time looking for the store manager training with me to find out where said products were. I knew where sone of them were from walking round the store. I have a friend who works for aldi and she said "work hard and ask questions and you'll be fine". So i thought it had gone ok but a week later i got an email saying my application wasnt successful with zero feedback stating "we get too many applications to provide feedback" which i think is quite rude when someones given up 2 hours of their time to work for them for free. Perhaps i dodged a bullet.

A lot of Questions so it wasn't easy, but for someone with experience quite okay. Could recommend. Management and area were super nice and professional. Try not to say any stupid things.
