      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Spartanburg, SC) in Sept 2012

      Interview

Applied for position via careers website August 16, 2012. Because I wasn't getting any luck getting any feedback after having applied 125 times in the past. i decided to be a little more proactive. I remembered back in 2009, I had an interview with AT&T. I hunted down that former recruiter. However, she had moved laterally within the company. However, I got a call a few days later from another recruiter who set up my initial phone interview. The phone interview lasted approx. 42 mninutes. 17 questions were asked pertaining to past experience and different customer experience/service scenarios. At the end of the call I was set up with a store interview with the manager. The store interview with the manager went relatively well. AT&T calls these "job previews" not interviews. A week went by before I was told that I was not selected as a candidate for the store I interviewed. However, the recruiter set up another interview for me at another store in the area about 30 minutes away. This interview lasted about 3 hours and I was told that I would be contacted within the week. A week later I was called to congratulate me on a contingent offer. From there it was another week before I got the final offer after passing my backgrounf check. Total process began on August 16th, recieved final hiring decision after successful completion of background screening September 21st

      Interview

It is a basic customer service and teamwork questions. Asks you to teach them how to do something you're passionate about. Nothing crazy or unexpected. Laid back but professional, answered all my questions as well.
